Lon is president and CEO of LDM Commercial, a privately owned commercial real estate brokerage and consulting firm which he founded in 2007, after a successful tenure as Sr. Vice President with Coldwell Banker Commercial.  While at CBC, Lon was ranked in the Top 75 brokers nationwide for deal volume.

Lon has also worked for a major academic hospital system in their managed care contracting department. He negotiated reimbursement contracts with major payers (HMOs and PPOs) and conducted internal revenue audits. Later, he owned and operated a successful hospital manage care revenue auditing firm with hospital clients nationwide.

With this background, it made Lon a unique broker/advisor within the healthcare real estate field, as he possesses an in-depth knowledge of how revenue streams function within healthcare. He also has used this knowledge to bridge the gap that sometimes exists between health systems and healthcare real estate developers and investors.

Lon has negotiated medical office leases totaling over 400,000 square feet.  He has also guided medical office sales transactions of over $300 million dollars.

Lon graduated from Atlantic Union College in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a Minor in Psychology.  He more recently earned his M.B.A. degree with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship from Louisiana State University (LSU).

Lon recently celebrated his 19th wedding anniversary with his wife Diane.  They have two talented teenage daughters, Kylee and Ashley, as well as four dogs and a horse.  RV camping and traveling are family favorite activities.
